Our ASC Center in Granger, Indiana is seeking a new part time Sterile Processing Technician. The techs would be operating all required equipment and machinery accurately and safely. The individual will perform decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the surgery center, utilizing infection control and safety practices during al phases of the process. The techs would prepare, assembly and sterilize instruments and supplies according to the parameters of sterilization in accordance with the manufacturer's IFU, current standards, guidelines and regulatory requirements. The person can prepare, assemble and sterile instruments and supplies according to the parameters of sterilization following regulatory guidelines. Accurately handling the care of instruments, including appropriate selection of cleaning agents, lubrications, examination for the function, identification and assembly according to the manufacturing IFU and preparation for sterilization. This PRN job will work from 1-3 days a week Monday through Friday and off every weekend it is a varied schedule based on the PRN needs and availability.

This position does require a high school diploma or equivalent as well as preferring a Sterile Processing Certification as well as one year of sterile processing experience within a surgery center. New graduates are welcome to apply as well as those applicants with working knowledge.
