Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist for an acute care setting with 2 years of recent CT and X-ray experience and required certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is within an acute care setting on the CT/X-Ray Tech unit in the radiology department
- Duties will focus on both CT scans and X-ray imaging
- Uses Cerner EMR system; prior experience recommended
- Evening 8-hour shifts with call and every other weekend required
- First to float status may be expected per facility needs
- Primary responsibilities include conducting CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed
- Orientation will cover 12 hours
- Scrub attire details will be provided by the facility
- Weekend and call duty coverage is a requirement for this position
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT and X-Ray Technologist
- Active CA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and Fluoroscopy certifications are required and must be active at time of consideration
- Experience in both CT and X-ray modalities required
- Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
- Two professional references: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
