Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

The practice involves both office and inpatient coverage across multiple sites, offering diverse clinical experiences. You will be responsible for managing an average of 27 patients per day, primarily focusing on high-risk pregnancies. The clinic is well-equipped with GE 10 ultrasound machines and is supported by an experienced team, including an RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, and front office staff. The practice is dedicated to providing exceptional care for conditions such as pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restrictions, and various genetic disorders.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This locum position offers a structured schedule that allows for predictability and work-life balance. The assignment entails a 5-day workweek with regular clinic hours and on-call responsibilities. Providers will rotate between two main clinic sites, ensuring a varied and engaging work environment. The estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days, allowing for a well-organized transition into the role.

Support and Work Environment

You will join a collaborative two-provider service, supported by a Nurse Practitioner who rotates between sites. The practice provides a robust support system without the necessity to supervise other healthcare providers. Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Completion of a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active Virginia medical license and BLS certification
• AIUM Certification is preferred
• Submission to all required job postings and a Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days
