Project Engineer

Extension is seeking a Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Port Washington, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance production equipment and customer products to provide innovative solutions
• Collaborate with customers, plant personnel, and management to complete projects and equipment improvements
• Assist sales and management teams with quotes, cost analysis, and technical support
• Resolve mechanical and system control issues and provide training for production and maintenance teams
• Oversee project execution, including equipment installations, trials, and vendor coordination

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments
• Expertise in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and system controls
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all levels of management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Outlook, and AutoCAD
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Salary Information

$80,000 – $90,000 per year
