Join Our Team as a Full-Time OB/GYN Physician in Brattleboro, VT!

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Staff MD OB/GYN to become part of a dedicated team within our Four Seasons OB/GYN practice. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care to a diverse range of patients.
• Manage gynecologic consults from primary care providers and in-house midwives.
• Perform a variety of office-based gynecologic procedures.
• Maintain surgical volume with access to three new operating rooms.
• Engage in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries.
• Work 3–4 clinic days weekly, seeing about 12–14 patients per day.
• Utilize an average of three OR days monthly.
• Provide physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care, including uncomplicated deliveries.
• Participate in manageable on-call duties shared among physicians (1 in 4 rotation).
• Support a birth center offering a variety of birthing options and services.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Practice evidence-based OB/GYN care in a supportive environment.
• Engage in a stable practice with very low turnover among staff and physicians.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency in the U.S. or Canada.
• Clean malpractice history.
• Active Vermont medical license prior to start date.
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must obtain an active Vermont License prior to the start of employment.
• Board Certification in OB/GYN is mandatory.
