Opportunity Highlights

Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

Join a dedicated team in a community-based hospital setting that emphasizes comprehensive patient care. The practice involves managing 20 outpatients in the clinic and performing two full EP lab days weekly. Procedures include EP studies, cardiac ablations (such as AFib, SVT, VT), pacemaker and ICD implantation, CRT device implantation, and device checks and management. The facility is equipped with CARTO 3 and is upgrading to the Ensite X system, ensuring you have access to state-of-the-art technology.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This position offers a predictable schedule with daily shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. It requires no weekend or night call duties, allowing you to maintain a healthy balance between your professional and personal life. The assignment is ongoing, with coverage preferred for three weeks per month but flexible for candidates available at least one week per month.

Support and Work Environment

The practice is well-supported by a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and utilizes the Cerner EHR system for streamlined patient management. You will be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise in electrophysiology is highly valued and supported. The team is committed to maintaining a high standard of care and providing comprehensive support to facilitate your success.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Electrophysiology is required.
  • An active Michigan medical license at the time of application is necessary.
  • DEA certification and COVID-19 vaccination are required.
  • Preference for local candidates due to the nature of the coverage schedule.
