Physician Internal Medicine - Competitive Salary

A well-established outpatient primary care practice in Longview, Texas is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join its care team. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys relationship-based medicine, consistent scheduling, and a team-focused outpatient model centered on quality care and long-term patient outcomes.

This is a full-time outpatient primary care position serving an adult patient population. The role focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, medication management, wellness visits, and continuity of care. Providers are supported by a collaborative clinical team designed to help physicians spend meaningful time with patients while practicing efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

✅ Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients
✅ Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, CHF, and other common primary care needs
✅ Conduct wellness visits, follow-ups, preventive screenings, and medication reviews
✅ Collaborate with APPs, nurses, care managers, behavioral health, and other support staff
✅ Support a care model focused on quality outcomes, access, prevention, and continuity of care
✅ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Qualifications

✅ Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician
✅ Active Texas medical license, or ability to obtain
✅ Primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatric care experience preferred
✅ Comfortable caring for adult and/or senior patient populations
✅ Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care
✅ Commitment to preventive medicine, patient education, and long-term health outcomes
