The local critical access hospital staffs Emergency Room Physicians as well as Hospitalist so the only call is after hours phone only coverage for clinical questions (1 in 6) and Obstetrics call (1 in 5) if that is part of the selected privileges. Also, if interested, you will have the opportunity to mentor rural health medical students as a Clinical Instructor for the University of Washington Medical School.The community has a wide range of other services including physicians practicing in the specialties of Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB-Gyn, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Radiology, as well as a comprehensive Critical Access hospital complete with ICU, two modern OR suites, spiral CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and a state of the art PACS/teleradiolgy system.The center offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Minimum qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of medicine, BC/BE in Family Practice, and eligible for hospital privileges. Prefer: Rural health experience in similar setting.
