Trading Operations – Austin

CW Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading global investment firm to hire a Trading Operations professional with a strong Python background. This is a high-impact opportunity to work closely with traders, quants, and technology teams, ensuring smooth execution, trade integrity, and operational excellence in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day options trading activity across equity and/or index markets
• Monitor trade lifecycle from execution through settlement, resolving breaks and discrepancies
• Perform trade reconciliations, P&L checks, and position verification
• Liaise with trading, risk, technology, and external counterparties to ensure operational accuracy
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives, including Python-based tools where applicable

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Experience in trading operations, middle office, or trade support roles
• Familiarity with options products, Greeks, and lifecycle events
• Working knowledge of Python or strong interest in using Python for automation is a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to operate effectively in a high-pressure environment
