Fire Alarm Technician

Location: Vancouver, WA

Pay: $40+ an hour (DOE)

Schedule:

Full-Time or Part-Time — Immediate Opening

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, program, test, inspect, and upgrade fire alarm and low-voltage life safety systems
• Commission and certify new systems
• Work on IP network-based systems
• Install and connect radio and cellular dialers

What You Need to Have:

The Musts:

• Low voltage license in Oregon and Washington
• Proficiency using a PC
• Experience with IP network-based systems
• Ability to install and connect radio and cellular dialers
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to:
• Perform a variety of duties that may frequently change
• Maintain confidentiality
• Analyze and solve problems logically
• Make decisions based on sound judgment
• Work under pressure
• Do basic arithmetic and write legibly
• Work within precise accuracy standards

Preferred:

• NICET Certification II
• ELO-6
• LME
• Customer Service
