Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

As an OB/GYN physician in this role, you'll be operating in a hybrid setting that includes both clinic and hospital responsibilities. You will manage approximately 360 births annually, with a mix of routine deliveries and occasional high-risk pregnancies, which are typically referred to tertiary centers. The practice does not require supervision of other healthcare providers, allowing you to focus fully on patient care.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This locum assignment is slated for a 24-hour shift starting at 7 am on June 25, 2026, and ending at 7 am on June 26, 2026, with the possibility of additional sporadic coverage thereafter. Physicians must remain within a 30-minute radius while on call. With an average of one delivery per day, you will be an integral part of a team that values collaboration and patient-centered care.

Support and Work Environment

You will be joining a cohesive team of four physicians, supported by nursing staff and Meditech Expanse EMR for efficient patient management. The facility is equipped with 45 staffed beds and a 20-room emergency department, providing a comprehensive care setting. Although no APPs are on site, the environment is designed to ensure that you have the resources and support needed to deliver top-notch care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• An active Ohio medical license is required, along with a clean malpractice and licensure history.
• Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency.
• A minimum of 50 deliveries in the past 12 months, with at least five being C-sections.
