Padre Associates is an environmental consulting firm based out of Ventura, California with additional offices in Bakersfield, Sacramento, and San Luis Obispo (SLO).
Compensation range is from $25 to 34/hr, depending on experience
What you'll do- Primary responsibilities include supporting wildlife and botanical field surveys, aquatic resource delineation, data interpretation, and preparing associated survey reports.
- Seasonal tasks include construction monitoring for permit compliance.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the biological sciences;
- Experience with California native wildlife and/or vegetation;
- Experience with California and federal streambed permitting;
- Have 2-5 years of experience in environmental consulting;
- Candidates must be willing to work in both an office and in the field.
- Some extended overnight field assignments are likely.
- Be highly motivated and enthusiastic;
- Have strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Interested in pursuing professional growth in a growing midsized consulting firm.
