Warehouse Operator

A growing food manufacturer seeks a Warehouse Operator. Forklift certification required.

• Temp to Hire
• Location: Irvine, CA
• Pay: $23.00/hr, non-exempt
• Work Hour: Monday – Friday 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Overtime / Working on Weekends: On an as-needed basis

Requirements of the Warehouse Operator:

• High School Diploma
• Forklift Certification
• Warehouse experience using Forklift
• Conversational English skills
• Communication / Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operator:

• Perform and document all receiving and shipping, stocking, packing, repacking and additional warehouse functions.
• Operate industrial truck to client trucks in a timely and accurate manner without causing any damage.
• Prepare and document ingredients and packing materials for production as instructed by the production side or Warehouse Manager.
• Perform to receive, ship and store various materials and ingredients from/to warehouse, storage freezer and/or cooler. Deliver to plant department as requested.
• Conduct warehouse and freezer inventory periodically as schedules.
• Report daily food safety, food quality and employee safety problems to immediate supervisor.
• Other related duties as assigned

Hours:  Monday – Friday from 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
