Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an exciting locum opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina. This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model while supporting multiple medical facilities within the health system.

Providers will gain exposure to diverse surgical cases in a high-acuity hospital environment while working alongside a skilled anesthesia team.

‍⚕️ Eligible Provider

✔️ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
✔️ Minimum 3+ years of anesthesia experience required
✔️ Active South Carolina license (or currently in process)
✔️ Proficiency in EPIC EMR required

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures
Work within a team-based anesthesia care model
Deliver safe and effective perioperative anesthesia management
Support multiple clinical locations depending on scheduling needs

Practice Environment

Work across several medical facilities within the health system as needed
⚕️ Case variety consistent with a large tertiary care center
No OB cases
No cardiac cases
No regional blocks required

Schedule & Coverage

⏰ 13.5-hour shifts
️ 0.5-hour unpaid lunch break
Some weekend shifts required depending on schedule
Minimum commitment of 3 months with potential extension

Work Locations

Providers may rotate between several clinical locations including:

University hospital setting
Specialty surgical facilities
Outpatient medical pavilions

Assignments may vary based on department scheduling needs.
