Recreation/Activity Coordinator
Join our team as a Recreation/Activity Coordinator and help us create a vibrant and engaging environment for our residents! In this role, you'll work independently, promoting and implementing a variety of activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents during meals, performing light housekeeping tasks, and facilitating both one-on-one and group activities. You will also have the opportunity to transport residents using Taylor Community's 15-passenger bus and other vehicles for off-campus outings, with training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging activities for residents
- Assist residents during meals and perform light housekeeping
- Facilitate one-on-one interactions and group activities
- Transport residents for off-campus activities using community vehicles
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in activities coordination preferred
- Dementia training is a plus; willingness to learn is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Must be between 25 and 75 years old
- Energetic and enthusiastic, with a passion for resident engagement
- Flexible schedule, including availability for some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid and clean driver's license
