QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with picture communication systems and/or augmentative communication devices.
• Ability to pass and utilize therapeutic crisis intervention training provided by RCS.
• Meets all health, physical and background-check requirements.
• Hold a current Tennessee Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Have both training and successful experience working with students with moderate to severe behavioral problems.
• Must have successful training and/or experience working with students with Autism.
• Understand Federal, State and local regulations regarding the identification, placement and discipline of students with disabilities.
• Strong Interpersonal skills & ability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, other professionals in the school and community, support staff, parents, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills
