American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a LDRP unit requiring couplet care experience and AWHONN Intermediate certification.
Details\n- \n
- LDRP unit within a hospital setting providing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care \n
- Cares for couplets and antepartum patients, with high risk pregnancy experience considered a plus \n
- Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 0700-1930 \n
- Call required for 3-4 shifts per 8-week block \n
- Floating required to Pediatrics and NICU, with ability to safety sit on any unit \n
- 13-week assignment length \n
- \n
- Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand \n
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate \n
- AWHONN Advanced certification preferred \n
- Minimum 2 years of prior Labor & Delivery RN experience required \n
- Prior charge experience preferred \n
- Experience in couplet care, high risk antepartum, and LDRP settings required \n
- \n
- Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum stages including high risk pregnancies \n
- Skilled in fetal monitoring, including external and internal fetal monitoring and IUPC placement \n
- Experienced in managing high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, PPROM, preterm labor, and VBAC/TOL \n
- Proficient in postpartum care including hemorrhage management, cesarean section recovery, and lactation support \n
- Skilled in medication administration including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and antihypertensives \n
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position \n
- Local candidates are not accepted; must reside 75+ miles from the facility \n
- References required at time of consideration \n
- Former permanent employees of the facility must have taken a 2-year break in service before eligibility \n
