American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a MO or compact RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Acute care Med/Surg unit with 39 beds, including 24 Med/Surg-tele beds \n
- Patient population includes non-acute cardiac cases such as pacemaker monitoring and potassium level management \n
- Patient ratio of 1:6 \n
- Uses MEDITECH charting system and McKesson medication system \n
- Schedule consists of 3x12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) with some weekend requirements \n
- 36 hours per week guaranteed \n
- First priority for floating to other Med/Surg units within scope of practice \n
- \n
- Active MO or compact RN license required \n
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required \n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required \n
- MEDITECH charting experience highly preferred \n
- Basic telemetry experience a plus but not required \n
- BSN not required for this position \n

- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with some telemetry monitoring responsibilities \n
- Royal blue scrubs required, not provided by facility \n
- Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week period \n
- Housing may be limited due to peak tourism season through Labor Day \n
