Job Summary:
\n Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. This role involves administering chemotherapy, monitoring patient responses, educating patients and families, and coordinating follow-up care. The RN will also assist physicians during procedures and ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
\n • 1 year of experience.
\n • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
\n • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
\n • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
\n • Basic computer skills.
Required Education:
\n • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Education:
\n • Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
\n • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
\n • Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
\n • ACLS (American Heart Association).
\n • Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
\n • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
