Position Title: Snack Bar / Counter Attendant
Department: Front of House / Grab & Go
Reports To: Shift Lead / General Manager
Location: Taste City – Terminal 1 (SFO)
Status: Full-Time / Part-Time
Classification: Union Position – Unite Here Local 2
Schedule: Must be available weekends & holidays

- Must be able to work a schedule starting as early as 4:00 a.m. 

Hourly wage: $18.34 – $22.34 per hour
(based on union wage scale & seniority)

Position Summary

The Snack Bar / Counter Attendant provides fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests while operating the POS register, preparing grab-and-go items, maintaining product displays, and ensuring a clean and organized front service area. This position is essential to delivering an efficient guest experience in a busy airport environment.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Operate POS cash register; process transactions accurately
• Prepare and package food and beverage items according to standards
• Stock product, utensils, condiments, beverages, and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters, equipment, and service areas
• Assist with dishwashing, trash removal, and stocking when needed
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Restock reach-in coolers, shelves, and display cases
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and management to support service flow
• Follow company policies, direction, and safety requirements
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high guest volume

Qualifications

• Previous cashiering or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic food safety knowledge preferred
• Flexible schedule; early morning / late night availability a plus

• Constant interaction with guests and team members
• Requires professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude

Qualifications:
