Job Description

Phillips Staffing is looking for energic, detailed oriented, and creative individuals to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate.

Responsibilities:

Remove bobbins, pins, or spindles holding fiber from a spinning frame
Replace empty bobbins
Oil/grease machine
Maintain accurate information with machine operations such as number of bobbins, replacement date/time
Clean waste material from machine, place in proper disposal location

Other Duties:

Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
Follow all dress code policies including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

Requirements:

Candidates must have prior textile experience, either through operating sewing machines, looms, or specialized production equipment, or through hands-on skills such as sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, weaving, felting, embroidery, rug hooking, or tapestry work.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
