Gastroenterologist - Locum Tenens Opportunity in Central Florida

We are currently seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for a short-term locum tenens assignment in Central Florida, near Babson Park. This position is covering high-volume call shifts.

Assignment Details:

• Specialty: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

• End Date: December 16, 2023
• Coverage Type: Call Only
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Admissions Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges: Available

MANDATED Job Requirements:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology - Required
• Fellowship in Gastroenterology - Required
• Active Florida Medical License - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required

Specialty Skills Required:

• Upper GI endoscopy with various procedures
• ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - Diagnostic and Therapeutic
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry
• Esophageal manometry interpretation
• Small Bowel biopsy
• Lower GI endoscopy, including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with various procedures
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
• Liver biopsy
• Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
