Maintenance Technician

Join a high-performing team at Graphic Packaging International as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a key role in keeping our advanced manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production machinery—ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

This is a 3rd shift position, running 10 PM-6:30 AM Monday-Friday. There will be an additional $1.50/hour differential added to offered hourly wage.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on equipment such as pre-press, sheeting, printing, and finishing machines

• Work closely with machine operators to identify and resolve issues quickly

• Disassemble and reassemble machinery to perform in-depth maintenance and repairs

• Replace, adjust, align, or install mechanical and electrical components as needed

• Test-run equipment to verify proper functionality after repairs

• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) to prevent repeat breakdowns

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to keep machines and facility systems running efficiently

• Inspect and maintain motors, drives, belts, fluid levels, and filters

• Maintain accurate and timely completion of work orders

• Transport parts and tools safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts

• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company safety policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing setting (5+ years preferred)

• Strong knowledge of electro-mechanics and troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems

• Ability to work independently and efficiently while prioritizing safety at all times

• A proactive mindset with a passion for solving complex equipment issues
