American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Urbana, IL, requiring a minimum of one year of L&D experience, Epic proficiency, and an active Illinois RN license.

- Located on the Labor and Delivery unit of an inpatient hospital setting \n
- Cares for the inpatient obstetric population, including labor, vaginal delivery, and surgical delivery \n
- Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, obstetric medication administration, patient education, and intrapartum care \n
- Night shift: 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) \n
- Weekend shifts are required \n
- No holiday shifts required \n
- No floating requirements \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Level 1 Trauma experience required \n
- \n
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temporary license accepted) \n
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (all from American Heart Association) \n
- ASN required; BSN preferred \n
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant L&D nursing experience required \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Level 1 Trauma experience required \n

- Provides intrapartum care to obstetric patients and newborns through labor, delivery, and surgical delivery \n
- Monitors fetal well-being and administers medications specific to the obstetric patient population \n
- Completes admission assessments, develops and continuously adjusts individualized plans of care \n
- Maintains accurate nursing documentation to support the full healthcare team \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n
- RTO is not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract \n
- Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 continuous year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning \n
