Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
Assist with surgical procedures, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient safety.
Administer anesthesia support, medications, and post-operative care as directed.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care and procedures.
Accurately document surgical care, interventions, and patient outcomes in compliance with hospital standards.
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Valid North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license.
Current BLS and PALS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pediatrics OR or perioperative nursing.
