Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Elkins, WV
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in an acute care setting following physician orders and established protocols.

• Provide general radiology support with CT responsibilities as needed.

• Prepare and administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions.

• Start peripheral IVs for contrast administration.

• Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and image quality across all exams.

• Follow isolation precautions and radiation safety standards.

• Collaborate with the Radiology interdisciplinary team to support efficient patient care.

• Work with patients across the lifespan, including neonates through geriatrics.

• Participate in infrequent on-call coverage as required (no more than 1 day per week).

Required & Preferred Skills and Requirements

Certifications & Licensure (Required):

• ARRT (R)

• BLS

• State CT license (WV or Compact; pending accepted)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year CT experience required

• Travel experience: Preferred

Work Settings:

• Adult Outpatient

Equipment Experience:

• Client

• Philips

• Siemens

• Toshiba

• PACS

CT Exam Proficiency:

• Abdomen and pelvis (with and without contrast)

• Chest (with and without contrast)

• Head and neck (with and without contrast)

• Spine imaging: cervical, thoracic, lumbar

• Musculoskeletal trauma imaging

Professional Skills:

• Contrast preparation and administration

• Peripheral IV insertion

• Isolation precautions

• Age-specific competency (neonate, infant, child, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, older adult)
