Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform front and back office administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to work in a practice that has been serving the community for over 30 years with an amazing staff of professionals.

Hours for the position are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties on time
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Take vital signs and draw blood when requested
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms

​Qualifications:

• PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR MEDICAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE
• Being a Certified Phlebotmist is preferred
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Prior work experience with substance abuse is a plus
