Primary Care Physician

Position: Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine / Internal Medicine / Geriatric Medicine)
Type: Full-Time | Outpatient

Role Overview:

This position provides comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting. The physician works closely with the Practice Administrator, Case Manager, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care while supporting organizational goals and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients
• Document all patient encounters in accordance with organizational policies
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants and clinical teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate care with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient services
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and clinical problem-solving
• Support special medical projects and on-site services as needed
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain professional affiliations

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. institution (or equivalent licensure)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Geriatric Medicine
• Active or eligible unrestricted state medical license
• Active, unrestricted DEA license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience
• Active Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
• Experience with Medicare Advantage and Value-Based Care models
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Proficiency with technology and EHR systems, including Athena EMR
