Dog Grooming Salon Manager Duties and Responsibilities

Dog Grooming Salon Managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon, ensuring that dogs are properly cared for and that the salon meets all health and safety standards.

They may also perform grooming tasks themselves.

The main duties and responsibilities of a Dog Grooming Salon Manager include:

• Managing and scheduling appointments for grooming services
• Overseeing and participating in grooming procedures such as bathing, brushing, clipping nails, and trimming fur
• Ensuring the health and safety of all dogs in the salon
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic salon environment, including cleaning and disinfecting grooming tools and workstations
• Hiring, training, and supervising grooming staff
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving any complaints or issues
• Ordering and managing inventory of grooming supplies
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
• Planning and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
• Processing payments for grooming services and managing the salon’s finances
• Must have that Disney attitude
