Precision OD/ID Grinder

Industrial Grinding is looking to hire an experienced precision grinder to join our team. We have been in business for 80 years and we stick to our specialty, which includes small and large OD/ID grinding, surface grinding and metalizing.  Industrial Grinding is a job shop, and we provide services to small and large companies throughout the Midwest and beyond.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with manual grinding machines, measuring tools and tight tolerances

Duties:

• Ability to read blueprints, use micrometers, depth micrometers, and dial bores.
• Responsible for machine set-up and the grinding of small and large parts to print specifications. 
• Maintain grinding machines, adjust machine settings and operate manual machines while finishing metal parts.
• Complete inspection reports that provide essential details including run-out, stock removal and final sizing.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures for a safe and secure working environment.
• Prefer experienced OD/ID grinder, but willing to train an individual who has excellent character and work ethic.
