Floating Director of Nursing (DON) - Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead all nursing staff within assigned facilities
• Develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and retention of nursing staff
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and up-to-date clinical competencies
• Monitor and address nursing staff conduct and performance issues
• Remain knowledgeable and responsive to incidents and clinical concerns
• Assess resident health needs and ensure quality standards of care are maintained
• Support facilities during transitions, surveys, staffing shortages, or leadership gaps

Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN License (required)
• Minimum 5 years of long-term care nursing experience
• At least 2 years of Director of Nursing (DON) experience
• Proven leadership, supervision, and team management skills
• Strong regulatory knowledge and clinical judgment
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively
