Job Description:

Under the direct supervision of radiology department personnel, performs support tasks such as patient transport, assistance with documentation workflows and communication, supply inventory and retrieval, and other tasks in support of clinical staff. Tasks are completed with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.Education: ▪ Required: Enrolled Student in a CoxHealth affiliated School/College of Radiologic TechnologyExperience: ▪ No Prior Experience RequiredSkills: ▪ Strong analytical/problem solving skills. ▪ Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information. ▪ Proficient in using computers and computer systems. ▪ Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills. ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ▪ Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Must pass ARRT registry exam within 6 months of Radiology School graduation
