Three days a week. We are needing a nurse, RN or LPN to serve as a caregiver with a client in the eastside area of Indy. Nice case; nice family. Three 12s 7:00AM-7:00PM.

Job duties:


Assumes responsibility and accountability for the practice of professional nursing in accordance with Agency policy and standards of practice to ensure effective and appropriate home care services.

Consistently demonstrates competency with technical nursing skills according to personal and legal scope of practice.

Communicates effectively and in accordance with Agency requirements.

Assess the continuing needs of the patient. Performs initial and ongoing patients assessments based on Agency policy and standards of practice to ensure effective and appropriate home care services, as needed.

Participates with team of RNs, LPNs and or Home Health Aides to provide effective and quality home care services.

Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for patients and coworkers.

Performs job duties in accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and professional and community standards.

Qualifications:


Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Current license as a Registered Nurse.

Demonstrated strong and effective written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

Ability to deal tactfully with patients and the community.

Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
