Assistant Director of Nursing

Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced full-time Assistant Director of Nursing ADON.

The Assistant Director of Nursing ADON will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and promote quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Active state RN license
• Experience in a management position at a SNF or long-term care facility
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing practices and procedures
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
