Asphalt Milling Machine - Full-time

AMI seeks a talented, enthusiastic, and action-oriented Asphalt Milling Machine Operator for our dynamic milling division. This key role involves the set-up, safe operation, and maintenance of the milling machine, contributing to successful projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate the milling machine to meet specified grades/elevations and job specifications.
• Skillfully operates the milling machine to remove asphalt or concrete to specified depths and patterns on roads, parking lots, etc.
• Complete all assigned jobs on time and within budget.
• Maintain expert knowledge of the asphalt paving industry
• Work with and motivate crew members, clearly communicating expectations and promoting positivity.
• Report issues, material needs, and progress to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Needed:

• Proven asphalt milling experience is required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating a Wirtgen Milling Machine or comparable equipment is required.
• Available to work weekends.
• Ability to operate additional equipment (Skid Steer, Paver, or Roller) is a plus..
