Job Title: Account Representative - LVHN – Allentown, PA
Department: Eligibility
Training Schedule: 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM at our Allentown, PA office
Work Schedule: Full Time/In Person-1:30pm-10:00pm- 1:30pm-5:00pm/Allentown office 5:00pm-10:00pm/onsite LVHN

Job Summary
We are currently looking for an Account Representative to join PATHS, LLC. This role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations, and contributes excellent assistance to PATHS’ provider clients across multiple states.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Contacting patients to complete Medicaid applications.
· Verifying patient health insurance information.
· Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and federal/state offices for additional information as needed.
· Review of medical claims.
· Identify and resolve outstanding issues preventing claim resolution.
· Accurately document information into various systems.
· Performing duties such as faxing, filing, emailing, and making phone calls to facilitate completion of applications.
· Completes all required initial PATHS training (HIPAA, compliance, security, client protocols, role-specific workflows) within onboarding timelines.
· Participates in required ongoing training (compliance updates, client requirements, systems changes) and demonstrates ability to retain and apply new knowledge in daily work.
· Other duties as assigned. *
Requirements
Required Skills & Abilities
• Bilingual: English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effectively communicate all options in clear and accessible language to promote understanding with patient options.
• Trustworthy, detail oriented, problem solving, research skills and organized.
• Ability to work independently and a part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including ability to interact with diverse patient populations, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information (HIPAA compliance required).
• Ability to meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to function well in a high-paced healthcare environment and adapt to multiple client sites.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
• Ability to sit in an office setting for an extended period and working on a computer, also prolonged periods of being on your feet while on site at the hospital.

• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and car insurance to travel between PATHS office in Allentown, PA and our client’s hospital at LVHN. (Mileage reimbursement to travel to offsite facilities is provided)
Education & Experience
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Must have past customer service experience.
Pre-Employment Requirements
· Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of applicable screenings consistent with federal, state, and local laws.
· Screenings may include: criminal background check, drug screen, physical exam, PPD screening, and verification of immunization records.
· Employment eligibility will be verified through I-9/E-Verify.
· Because PATHS operates in the healthcare industry, certain screenings (e.g., OIG/GSA exclusion checks, state Medicaid exclusion lists) may be conducted on a recurring basis as required by federal and state law, client contracts, and hospital compliance programs.
Compensation & Benefits
· Compensation: $22.00/hour
