Automotive Cashier - Full-time

Independence Mazda, located in Charlotte, NC, is currently seeking an Automotive Cashier/Service BDC to join our team.

The Service Cashier/BDC Coordinator plays a key role in the customer experience at our Mazda dealership. This individual is responsible for providing friendly and efficient checkout services for service customers while also supporting the service department’s Business Development Center (BDC) by scheduling, confirming, and following up on service appointments. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer payments in person and over the phone
• Process credit card transactions
• Issue receipts and change to customers
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Email over invoices to extended warranty companies
• Close invoices/Repair Orders
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for customers
• Perform outbound calls daily to gain appointments

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive cashiering REQUIRED
• Prior experience in automotive BDC preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate Dealertrack, Xtime, Microsoft 
• Saturday availability is a requirement
• Valid drivers license

Compensation:

$15.00 per hour
