CORA’s Community Services Division is currently recruiting for an After Care Preschool Teacher to join our Early Years Program at our Huntington Mills location.
This is a Part-time, on-site position
Minimum starting pay rate is $14.10 (rate increases based on additional credentials and experience)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 2PM - 6PM or 3PM - 6PM (with opportunity to work additional hours for staff absences/vacations)

In addition, as an After Care Preschool Teacher your duties will include:
- Participate in individual and group activities to actively engage children and encourage cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Adhere to schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Help to monitor growth and development of children based on established learning objectives using age-appropriate assessment tools.
- Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the Early Years program.
Qualified Candidates Should Possess:
- Minimum of two years documented experience working with an early childhood population.
- Passion and skill for working with children.
- Special skills in art, music, drama, science/STEM, sports highly desired
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Understanding of child development.
- Willingness to obtain Infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification, if not certified
