Description

Cascade Process Constrols is hiring skilled Construction Electricians with experience in the oil and gas industry to support electrical construction projects at industrial job sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in hazardous and non-hazardous environments, following all safety and industry standards. 

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for oil & gas construction projects
  • Perform electrical work on power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems
  • Install and terminate conduit, cable tray, wiring, and electrical panels
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, and construction plans
  • Perform troubleshooting and testing using appropriate electrical test equipment
  • Install electrical equipment such as motors, MCCs, panels, transformers, and junction boxes
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Work safely in classified (hazardous) locations
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete construction activities
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and follow lockout/tagout procedures

Requirements

 

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Construction Electricial 
  • Previous experience working on oil and gas construction sites
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical practices
  • Ability to bend conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical systems
  • Experience with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent
  • Experience in refineries, gas plants, pipelines, or compressor stations
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classifications
  • TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or site safety certifications

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive pay: $19.00 – $34.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Full-time, permanent employment
