About the Role
This Food Manufacturing Technician role supports production operations within food manufacturing and processing facilities, with a focus on equipment operation, quality control, and advanced production support. Technicians play a key role in ensuring food products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for individuals with prior food manufacturing or production experience who are ready to take on additional responsibility. Opportunities may be temporary, temp-to-hire, or direct hire depending on client needs and performance.
Schedule
- Full-time schedules available
- Day, evening, and overnight shifts depending on production needs
- Overtime opportunities may be available
- On-site roles within food manufacturing facilities
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor food production and processing equipment
- Perform setup, changeovers, and basic equipment adjustments
- Monitor product quality and production specifications
- Troubleshoot minor production or equipment issues
- Complete production, safety, and quality documentation
- Follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency efforts
What We’re Looking For
- Food manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience required
- Understanding of GMP and food safety standards
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort working in temperature-controlled environments (hot or cold)
- Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check (client-specific)
- Reliable transportation
