Parts Salesperson - Full-time

Purpose:

This position is responsible for the selling of parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and by placing special orders for our customers. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions.   

Responsibilities: 

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs. 

• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required. 

• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays. 

• Verifies receipting-in or shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations. 

• Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly. 

• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager. 

• Assists in maintaining all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.

• Shall be able to multitask while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

• Required to participate in branch and company on call schedules.

• Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs. 

• Be able to work with a team or independently. 

• Maintain a professional demeanor to ensure that the highest level of customer experience is attained.

• On occasion when deemed necessary deliver parts to customers utilizing company vehicle.

• Additional duties as assigned.

• Expected to participate in occasional monthly branch and company on call schedules

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: 

• Preferably one year of experience working in a parts department operations. 

• Experience with electronic parts catalogs preferred.   

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 

• Valid Driver's license.

The starting hourly rate is $20 - $24 per hour and will be determined based on experience.
