Position Summary 

AEMI is looking to add a highly motivated Workflow Intern with AI expertise to join the Quality team. The AI Workflow Intern will leverage artificial intelligence tools and analyze, optimize, and enhance workflow processes within the QA department. The focus will be on identifying inefficiencies, automating repetitive tasks, and improving data accuracy and reporting capabilities. This internship is ideal for someone curious about AI systems, prompt engineering, automation, and real-world applications of generative AI in business.

  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in designing and documenting AI-driven workflows to analyze, optimize, and enhance workflow processes within the QA department. 
  • Build workflow prototypes using automation platforms.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of AI models, assessing output quality, speed, and reliability.
  • Help integrate AI services with internal tools and databases.
  • Research emerging AI tools and recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • Analyze workflow performance and prepare reports on efficiency gains and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their use cases and implement improvements.
  • Document procedures, best practices, and workflow architecture.

 Key Deliverables

  • Deliverable 1: Workflow Analysis Report – A detailed assessment of current QA workflows and identification of improvement opportunities using AI.
  • Deliverable 2: AI Integration Proposal – A documented plan for implementing AI solutions to streamline QA processes.
  • Deliverable 3: Proof-of-Concept Implementation – A working prototype or demonstration of AI-enhanced QA workflow improvements.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interest in AI, automation, and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or similar.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in workflow mapping tools.
