Pay Range: $19-$21 DOE

FT ONLY

Responsibilities:

• Ability to make appropriate substitutions to menu when necessary and report such to dietary manager
• Ability to plan and organize time and food preparation to specified time
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment
• Review of tray card to assure that current food information is consistent with food served
• Assemble food trays according to diet and resident's food preferences as written on diet ticket
• Follow posted cleaning schedule utilizing proper sanitation and cleaning methods
• Follow infection control and safety measures
• Other duties as assigned by Cook or Dietary Manager

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year cooking in retirement/hospitality environment
• Current Food Handlers Card
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
