Provide support to the EAT programs and tool crib areas as a member of the Work-Study program.

All applicants MUST meet the following criteria or will be marked 'disqualified':
- a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours.
- currently have a work-study award given by Financial Aid - If you have not received an award or are not sure, fill out and submit and contact finaid@macomb.edu with questions.
Position Duties
• Monitor facility operations for the Manager of Facilities & Operations, in her/his absence, to ensure that the facility is operated in a manner that is consistent with the policies and procedures adopted by the College for the overall operation.
• Enforces health, safety and fire regulations within the facility.
• May be required to open/close the facility.
• Check in and check out tools and equipment in EAT labs.
• Provide proper security for the facility, tools, and equipment.
• Inform supervisor and/or instructor of students not following safety procedures.
• Answer telephone, transfer calls and/or take messages.
• Run errands on campus.
• Assist faculty, staff, and students within the EAT facility(s).
• Maintain all department records electronically, including inventory of lab supplies, and initiate replacement supply orders.
• Perform daily routine shop and equipment cleaning and rubbish removal.
• Perform routine shop and equipment cleaning.
• Monitor equipment condition and notify supervisor of required repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Related work experience or demonstrated ability to perform duties of the position. Some education required such as relevant course work and/or formal training. Use of computers and advanced technical support may be required.
