Teacher Aide - High School - Full-time

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with children or students with disabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and receive direction and  feedback from certified staff

The Teacher Aide will:

• Monitor and record daily student attendance using the school’s attendance management system.

• Collect and verify attendance data from teachers and classroom rosters.

• Contact parents or guardians regarding student absences, tardies, or early dismissals.

• Maintain accurate and confidential attendance records in compliance with district and state requirements.

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports for administrative review.

• Assist students in obtaining and submitting absence notes, passes, and tardy slips.

• Support teachers and administrators by providing attendance-related information as needed.

• Help identify patterns of truancy and communicate concerns to counselors or administrators.

• Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in the attendance office.

• Issue and track student passes for late arrivals, early dismissals, and class changes.

• Coordinate with school security or resource officers to locate students on campus when necessary.

• Performance will be evaluated annually by building administration.
