Manual Machinist - Full-time

Conhagen is seeking an Intermediate Manual Machinist for our Kenner, LA location. The ideal candidate should possess at least 3-5 years of machining experience. The Manual Machinist will perform machining operations on pumps, turbines, and other equipment components in the Conhagen machine shop as directed. 

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of manual machining experience
• Familiarity with interpreting blueprints
• Knowledge of HSE procedures and machining principles
• Proficiency in using measuring equipment
• Skills in various machining operations

Job Responsibilities:
• Fabricate parts from blueprints using various materials
• Use precision measuring tools
• Inspect machinery and adjust as needed
• Operate transportation machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Distribute work and manage the department in the absence of the supervisor

Requirements:
• Adequate English language skills
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Background check and drug screening required
• Minimum two-year background in manual machining
• Proficiency in various machining tools
• Leadership capacity or experience
• History of safety compliance
