Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Veterinary Assistants to join our team on both a full-time and/or part-time basis. You will work with a talented and supportive group, delivering top-notch emergency and specialty care to our patients.

 Qualified applicants for this role:

• Shift and Schedule: 4 day work week. Weekends, holidays and on calls required. 
• Contribute to incoming outpatient care and ongoing inpatient care.
• Organize work area and exercise time management skills to maximize personal efficiency within the practice. 
• Prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks in a calm manor
• Keeping treatment areas clean
• Additional duties as assigned based on position/department

Veterinary Assistants Must:

• Some experience working in a veterinary emergency hospital preferred
• Must have reliable transportation 
• Able to perform moderately physically demanding work, that requires lifting (up to 50 pounds) 
• Flexibility and the ability to accommodate shift work in a hospital that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Have great people skills 
• Communicate well in person, over email, and on the phone  
• Love of animals and a passion to help and heal, first and foremost 
• Good work ethic

Hourly pay range is $20-$23
