Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your nursing career, while having the flexibility you need? We are hiring an Registered Nurse/RN to join our incredible team! Our RNs are a trusted and valued member of the Transforming Age team, providing the care and compassion our residents’ needs. They will support our Director of Nursing with assessments, admissions, fill in with community support, and be a trusted advocate for our incredible residents and team!
Our Registered Nurses:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Cleared Criminal Record clearance through the Department of Social Services prior to presence in the community.
- Health screening and TB test results not older than 6 months.
- Current First Aid Training and Certifications as per Title 22.
- A current RN license issued by the State of California is required.
- Working knowledge of computers and typing, sufficient enough to be successful with computerized Point of Care and other systems.
- Minimum of six months in long term care, home care or related field.
- Demonstrated competence in technical and manual skills according to the scope of practice for RN's
What you need to succeed!
- Be a graduate of an accredited RN program
- Have an active RN license in the state, in good standing
- Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term Care (2 years or more) preferred.
- Have flexibility, able to work the occasional weekend/holiday as needed.
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing team members
- Have knowledge of DHS Regulations
- Possess superb interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well and collaboratively with team members and external constituents.
- First aid and CPR certification per local title 22
- Completion of a background check, drug screen, and other pre employment tasks required by certain state/local guidelines such as a physical, fingerprint, and TB test.
Physical Requirements:
On occasion, may need to push/pull/support up to 75lbs.
