General Requirements 

  • Must be able to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. 
  • Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks. 
  • Able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the day. 
  • Required to be available during the off-season for snow operations as needed. 
  • Must adhere to all company safety standards, operational procedures, and policy guidelines. 
  • Specific job responsibilities are included as guidelines and can be expanded to include other duties as needed at the discretion of Green View managers at any time. 

Position Specific Requirements 

  • Perform pre-operation inspections on all enhancement-related equipment, including hand tools, wheelbarrows, small power tools, motorized augers, skid steers, mini excavators, and compact loaders to ensure safe operation. 
  • Oversee all plant removals, including large-scale removals, stump grinding coordination, and invasive species mitigation strategies. 
  • Manage large-scale mulch, decorative rock, and soil installations across multiple properties, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality standards. 
  • Supervise planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs, small-to-large trees, and specialty plantings with a focus on long-term health and visual impact. 
  • Operate and instruct teams on the proper use of hand pruners, loppers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, pole saws, and stump grinders for plant maintenance and removals. 
  • Oversee and execute installation of brick edging, landscape borders, retaining walls, and complex hardscape features with advanced grading and drainage considerations. 
  • Plan and coordinate enhancement projects across multiple job sites, ensuring proper material allocation and crew scheduling. 
  • Train and develop crew leaders and crew members, focusing on efficiency, quality control, and technical expertise in enhancements. 
  • Troubleshoot complex on-site challenges, offering long-term solutions for soil conditions, drainage, and plant selection. 
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting enhancement materials, equipment, and process improvements for increased productivity. 
  • Enforce all safety standards, ensuring crews adhere to PPE requirements, proper equipment operation, and job site safety best practices. 
  • Consistently surpass all company benchmarks for productivity, time on site, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
