Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an inpatient Ortho/Urology General Surgery unit position in Boston, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level 1 experience and an active MA RN license.

• 36-hour weekly schedule with day/night rotating shifts
\n
• Inpatient Ortho/Urology unit (Ellison 6), a 36-bed adult inpatient floor
\n
• Patient population includes orthopedic and urologic patients who are pre- and post-surgical, admitted via the ED, front door, or clinical admissions
\n
• Epic EMR used for charting
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
\n
• BLS certification required — must be AHA only
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Level 1 experience required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• 2 professional references required for consideration
\n
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide direct nursing care to adult orthopedic and urologic patients in a pre- and post-surgical inpatient setting
\n
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
\n
• No validated parking is available at this Boston location — public transportation or paid public parking lots are available nearby
\n
